Dr. Anil K. Sood has over 42 years of experience in veterinary medicine and surgery. He established Petaids Veterinary Centre in 1983 — one of the oldest and most trusted veterinary canine practices in India — and has since built a career that spans clinical practice, surgical innovation, government advisory, and international training.
An alumnus of the College of Veterinary Sciences, Bikaner (BVSc & AH, 1980; MVSc, 1983) and New York University (Diploma in Orthopaedic Surgery, 1990), Dr. Sood brings a rare combination of Indian clinical depth and global surgical training to every engagement.
In 2016, he was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Delhi Veterinary Association — recognition of a career defined by clinical excellence, institutional contribution, and an unwavering commitment to the advancement of veterinary medicine in India.
